SG Elections

A bit late, but some thoughts...

1. Mainstream media may be biased, but at least they don't sprout hyperbole and incorrect facts. They are liable to lawsuits if that happens.

2. The inconsistency of the forum posters is startling. Comments passed against white candidates wouldn't have been heard if the candidate is from another party

3. I wonder how many of the people who hate TPL are actually in MacPherson?

4. I like it when people try to petition to remove TPL from parliament. Can I petition to remove other MPs that I don't like? Even though they don't represent me. See point 3.

5. I like it that some people are cynical of the recent wage review. Do also complain, don't do also complain. Give chance can? At least they are trying to kill the cow. If the results and justification sucks, then you know whether they are sincere or not.

6. Interesting that they are asking for opposition MPs to be member of the review committee, so does that mean that PAP MPs can be member of the committee too? COI applies both ways too you know.

7. Self pwn. This describes the efforts of most PAP MPs with regard to social media. Some of their comments are asking for it.

8. It is nice to know that not all Singaporeans are dumb/biased. At least some are questioning Nicole Seah's use of personal account to solicit donations.

9. There are inherent trade offs in life. Remove foreign workers? Not as if Sg are going to take up those jobs. If they take up those jobs, wages will go up and you think businesses will absorb the costs?

10. I worry when people say that between lightning and dog, they'll vote for the dog. What is the point? In the end who lives with the dog for 5 years? That's right. You! Scrutinise the candidates can?

11. Vote opposition! Give them a chance. By the same measure, can I say you should give new white candidates a chance too?

12. MBT. Stubborn stubborn stubborn. Now you come and say that the 8k level will be reviewed. Horse run away then you close barn door

13. Seriously, is it so difficult to be transparent on what the president does? Help us understand why he should be paid at such a level? BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop
